Brow Howe is an attractive 200 year old cottage in its own large gardens in the hamlet of Pardshaw with panoramic views of Skiddaw, Red Pike, Whiteside and Melbreak and with in easy reach of the northern lakes.

Four miles down the road lies the old market town of Cockermouth, birthplace of William Wordsworth, which has its own Norman Castle, shopping centre and swimming pool.  In the vicinity of Pardshaw there are some excellent inns providing lunches and evening meals.

Our situation is ideal for fellwalking, cycling, horse riding and watersports.  The area is much loved by artists, photographers, naturalists and bird watchers for its peace and tranquility.

We offer one double and one twin bedded room, each with Central Heating, TV and tea/coffee making facilities and home-made biscuits.  Iron and hair dryer available.

A high quality breakfast will be served between 8-9am.   Packed lunches are available if requested.

We look forward to warmly welcoming you to Brow Howe, a non-smoking home.

Tariff - £20 per person per night.
